Course Overview
This course will teach you how to influence others with integrity byĀ utilising various psychological techniques such as nudges, storytellingĀ and motivational levers. You will learn how to frame your ideas andĀ concepts in a way that engages and persuades your audience.Ā We will explore āNudgeā techniques, which are subtle ways ofĀ influencing people’s behaviour by altering the environment orĀ context in which they make decisions.
The goal of nudge techniquesĀ is to encourage people to make better choices for themselves withoutĀ being explicitly told what to do. These techniques might includeĀ incorporating specific words or images in presentations or using theĀ layout of a room to create a specific atmosphere. The emphasis in thisĀ workshop would be on using nudges in an ethical and transparent wayĀ to influence people’s behaviour in a positive direction. By the end of the course, you will have an increased ability toĀ communicate effectively and positively shape opinions, attitudes,Ā and behaviours beyond your positional authority, in order to achieveĀ desired outcomes.
